Gambia Opposition Leader Lawyer Ousainou Darboe With His Party Executives Protesting Against The Killing Of Mr Solo Sandeng

Emergency UK Protest: Wed 20th April 2016

UK/EU Gambians and Human Rights Sympathisers will be holding an emergency protest outside the Gambian Embassy on Wednesday 20th April from 12:00 hrs, Midday at 92 Ledbury Rd, London W11 2AH.

In light of last week’s escalating violence on Thursday and Saturday leading to killings and torture of peaceful protesters we are calling all to join a worldwide day of outrage with our counterparts in the United States and Senegal.

1. Protest Date – Wednesday 20th April (12 Midday)
2. Venue – 92 Ledbury Rd, (meeting point Nottinghill Gate Tube Station)

This is also a big opportunity for all who wish to see Gambia remain as a Secular State to demonstrate their dismay towards Jammeh’s proposed Islamic State and Shària Law bill. Please share this press release with all Gambians and Human Rights Sympathisers, especially those in the EU and UK.

If Gambians at home are suffering physical torture and death because of their fundamental human rights, we should be able to mobilise to protest so that the International Community continue it’s sustained pressure on the rogue Gambian regime. This is a call for all to just give up a few hours to really tell the world that The Gambia is in a state of emergency.
