FIFTEEN YEARS (15) YEARS AGO TODAY 10 APRIL 2000, 16 STUDENTS INCLUDING A RED CROSS VOLUNTEER AND A FOUR YEAR OLD CHILD WERE MURDERED AND HUNDREDS OF THEM TORTURED AND MAIMED IN THE GAMBIA BY YAHYA JAMMEH’S GOVERNMENT FOR PROTESTING AGAINST THE RAPE AND MURDER OF TWO OF THEIR COLLEAGUES:

These people were killed/tortured/maimed because of Jammeh’s brutality, however, not because they seeking to be famous, neither mining diamonds or golds nor seeking to overthrow the government but of course, because they were seeking justice for two of their MURDERED and RAPED colleagues and for the entire country! It’s our collective responsibilities as people in general and Gambians in particular to seeking justice for the victims of these VICIOUS, CALLOUS, BARBARIC AND COWARDICE act else we will be on the wrong side of history.
