Lawyer Ousainou Darboe and Co’s trial continues at the high court in Banjul today 27th April 2016 and the amount of people that converged in Banjul to attend the appearance in court of their leaders was over the limit of Jammeh’s likings. The people of the Gambia are answering to the long awaited call for liberation and if anyone doubts it, you only need to look at the pictures and activities all around the world. Since the arrest and subsequent detention and torture to death of Solo Sandeng and Co, Gambian people have answered to the call to go and complete the liberation he started with his group. Gambians in the UK, Germany, USA, Holland, France and Senegal have all stood up and protested against the killings and detentions of 14th and 16 April 2016 protesters. The turnout has been and it must continue to be good in order to get back our country from the worse dictator the world has seen in the whole of 20th and 21st century. Continue reading
